Impressive. This is the mystery suspense novel done right!

I'm posting these book reviews to give everyone time to read two novels, The Expediter and The Cabal. David Hagberg is a friend. He has written over 85 books, impressive. If you like CIA terrorist stories, he's the guy to read. You'll be hooked on the series. His next book, The Abyss is due in June 21, 2011.

Start off by reading The Expediter then The Cabal by that time you'll be ready for The Abyss. His books are available everywhere. I've added links to the kindle versions to make it easy.

This is David and I in Sarasota tipping a few...

The Cabal
Hagberg continues to write the best techno-thriller action adventures out there. Without spoiling the story, what Hagberg did in this novel took guts. Those that have read The Cabal know what I'm talking about.
Kirk McGarvey the ex-CIA Director faces murder, assassins and conspiracy page after page. The novel begins with Kirk's son in law and a murder and it builds from there. It's well thought out with great characters. The plot is tight, the action is fast and the villains are real making this book Hagberg's best. This is truly a great book.

The Expediter
North Korea, China, assassination, and world threat, Hagberg’s timing couldn’t be better with today’s fractured world of North Korea’s chessboard maneuvering of espionage and game playing.
David writes a fast flowing, gripping adventure mystery that reads like a white-knuckle thriller should.
Immediately, you start to wonder with a story this good, if Hagberg has an inside seat during the CIA and foreign government briefings.
The story is set up perfect, characters flushed out, realistic, and the plot unfolds with a reading experience that moves like a bullet. The ending of this novel sets America up for a nightmare, and knowing Hagberg’s novels...we’re in for it.
I’ve got to know where his next book takes us. Excellent read!

all the best
Norm
